This class will cover the similarities and differences between gangs on the street, gangs in the prison, and what is a Security Threat Group (STG).

Dispatchers will learn how to identify those groups and their members and steps we can take to counter these criminal organizations. Additionally, the class will cover the impact that Gangs and STG’S have on contraband as a criminal enterprise. Contraband’s impact on safety, as well as ties to drug trafficking on the inside of our prisons and jails as well as the outside communities.
